Dear Resident,

Another Positive Result for Leigh after Community concerns lead to action.

Working closely with Trading Standards, neighbourhood officers have taken action against a business linked to criminality and anti-social behaviour.

On 1 September, a Closure Notice was served on a commercial property on Bradshawgate, Leigh. The case will now move through the courts for consideration of any further action.

Operation Considerate also took place on 01/09/2026 on Spinning Jenny Way at BJ’s bingo Ellesmere Street, Leigh.

The Leigh East Neighbourhood Team working alongside Road Policing Team attended and had the following results:
